Natalies Luck Improves After Being Dumped At Local School

Natalie was found by long time Soi Dog Supporter Lillian, on the grounds of a school in the south of Phuket. We believe Natalie was dumped as she was struggling to take care of herself. Without the street smarts that most street dogs in Thailand possess, we are unsure if Natalie would have survived and she will now call the Soi Dog shelter her home until a family can be found for her.

Curiously, Natalie is missing part of her left hind leg and we have no idea what has happened to her. This may be a birth defect or may be the result of an accident, we will probably never know. Natalie has now been given a much needed haircut and will remain under the watch of the vets until she is ready to join the other dogs out in the runs.

We have decided to name Natalie after Soi Dog supporter Natalie Glebova. Natalie is an animal rights activist and former Miss Universe who recently visited the Soi Dog shelter in Phuket to open the new sterilisation unit which was funded by the Brigitte Bardot Foundation (You can read more about this at https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.625646100810462.1073742410.108625789179165&type=3)
