Mariko And Yukio Settle Into The Puppy Run

Hi, its Mariko and Yukio here. You may have heard of us. If not, you can read our story by visiting https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.630263800348692.1073742448.108625789179165&type=3

We were dumped outside the Thai-Swedish Foundation when we were tiny puppies. We were so scared and didnt know what we were going to do. Lucky for us, we were found and bought to Soi Dog Foundation. Because we were so little and had not yet had something called vaccinations (dont ask us what they are), we were sent to stay with Khun Mia, who they call the puppy lady. She was so nice and we had so much fun there. She fed us lots of times during the day and night and played with us and the other puppies living there, including Seattle and Tucson and Soottee and there was even a cat there called Beckett. Dr Su would come and visit us once a week and give us needles. We didnt like that very much but trusted Dr Su when she told us it would help us grow up to be big and strong. We had to say goodbye to Khun Mia a few days ago and we were all sad. We were excited though as we were told we would be living in the puppy run with lots of other dogs our age and that there were lots of toys to play with.

We were a little bit scared at first when we first came to the puppy run as some of the other dogs are a bit bigger than us, but they all said hello and we are not scared anymore. We have made a new friend called Calypso. She is funny as she only has three legs, but she likes to play with us and has made us feel very welcome. We were hoping to see Seattle and Tucson again but they tell us they have moved into the hotel run as they are both going to the USA to live with new families. We hope we also get to move into the hotel run if that means we get to live with a family.

Khun Mia has such an important job, but it is only with your support that really young puppies like us can go and stay with her and receive the best care possible. Do you think you might be able to help out and join Shiver’s Puppy Care Club which is a special club which helps all the young puppies?
