DOG WITH MULTIPLE WOUNDS ARRIVES FOR URGENT TREATMENT

Poko was brought to the shelter last Sunday by a concerned person in the neighbourhood where she is living who could see she needed to be treated immediately. Poko was covered in deep wounds and puncture marks all over her body and was clearly in distress when she arrived. Most concerning was a big wound around her neck and an ear canal rupture. She was also suffering from nasal discharge and skin problems.

Poko was treated immediately by Dr Eed, the vet on duty on Sunday, and will continue treatment in the clinic.
