TREATMENT NEEDED AFTER LEG IS CAUGHT IN WIRE TRAP

Poor Lucas was found in terrible pain after being found caught in a wire trap. Animal Rescue Officer Khun Sanae was called to the site to help release Lucas and bring him back to the Soi Dog clinic for treatment. Lucas has a very nasty wound on his leg as a result of being caught in the trap which is now being treated by Dr Eugene, who will hopefully be able to save his leg. Dr Eugene believes this wound will heal as the tissue is healthy and is not infected. We will keep you up to date on his progress.

Without immediate attention, Lucas would have most likely died of dehydration and starvation if not released from the trap. Only you can help dogs like Lucas receive the immediate rescue and treatment they need. You can do this by becoming a member of the Emergency Response Team which exists to treat cases such as this.
