DOG BITES CAN BE NASTY AND MOST CERTAINLY REQUIRE TREATMENT

Mitt was picked up from outside a construction material shop in the Patong area of Phuket after it was reported he had bite wound on his hip. Once arriving at the clinic, Dr Eugene examined Mitt and found that the wound was very deep and it is now being cleaned daily and treated with antibiotics. Unfortunately it is also suspected that Mitt is suffering from blood parasites and is also being treated for these. Left untreated, dogs can become very ill and even die.
