We have subsidised RM400 for the spaying and neutering of these 4 cats.

Dear Dr. Chan,
It is me, Kim Sim again. I am seeking your help to sponsor the spaying of a group of 5 mother cat and kitty in my neighbourhood.
The mother brought 3 kitties into our neighbourhood end of last year. The neighbours around have been feeding them including my husband and I. Then, a new kitten joined them and now, they are a group of 5. We have since been asking around some vet and see who can spay them (they are all females!!!!). Finally, a clinic agreed to spay all of them and keep them for a week until they are well again. However, the cost would be RM180 per cat. 5 cats would be RM900.
I am seeking if you can help to subsidise 50% of the cost.
We intend to spay them then release them back in the neighbourhood as they are already so comfortable there. Then, we will continue to feed them there…in a vacant house.
We have dewormed most of the kitty…except the brownish one (this is their adopted kitty. 
) Sorry that my pix does not contain the brownish kitty as she is very very shy. She will only come near when she is really hungry. My husband only managed to catch her once and checked that she is a female.

They are sooooo adorable. Unfortunately I can’t keep them as I already have 4 in my house. But we don’t mind continue to feed them outside.

Dear Dr. Chan,
Thank you very much for replying. I am happy to hear that your organisation is willing to subsidise up to RM100 per cat. That indeed is a great help to us. We will finance the balance RM80/cat ourselves. At least we could still afford the balance ourselves without compromising by opting not to spay the kitties.
I have now read through your policy and will proceed accordingly. I will fill up the form and send by post together with the original receipt once the spaying is done. Also, I will email you the pix of the cats before and after the op.

We have finally gotten 4 cats neutered…instead of 5. One mother and her 3 kittens. We failed to catch the other stray. The kittens actually consists of 2 male and 1 female.
