HOW DOES AN ANIMAL GET SO BAD BEFORE SOMEONE HELPS?

Poor Gremlin has come to Soi Dog in a horrific state. His body is covered in many scabs and he is obviously in a lot of discomfort and no doubt pain. Skin scrape tests have shown he is severely infested with small mites. These mites burrow into the skin and lay eggs, which hatch rapidly and multiply, causing increasing discomfort and hair loss in the animal. Left untreated, these mites can cause death! Thankfully this can be treated and Gremlin is now under the care of our vets and we are hoping that Gremlin can make a full recovery.
