TAIL AMPUTATION AS A RESULT OF A ROAD ACCIDENT
Tweet | ![]() |
Oliver came to the shelter from a local hotel after being hit by a car, which resulted in facial injuries and a wound on his tail. He has been at the shelter for several weeks now receiving treatment, however the wound on his tail was not healing and the decision was made to perform a partial amputation. Cats can survive with no problems without their tail and this surgery was performed by the very skilled Dr Su, with the assistance of Khun Mui. Oliver is recovering well and we will update you on his progress.
