STANDING ON MY OWN FOUR PAWS

I was found on Sarasin Bridge, the really busy bridge that links Phuket to the mainland. I had been dumped there and was hit by a car. I couldn�t walk after that and was on the side of the road waiting for help, which thankfully came. I was brought to Soi Dog Foundation and the vets were worried about me and said I had nerve damage and that I might not walk again. I also have something called blood parasites, which makes me feel weak and sick and I have heard they can kill dogs if they are not given any medicine.

I was so worried when I heard that I may not walk again, what would my life be like? After a few days resting in the clinic I was taken outside and guess what, I was able to stand up all by myself! I am so excited and feel like there may be hope for me after all. For now though I will keep resting and doing what the vets tell me to do and hopefully next time they take me outside I will be able to take some steps on my own.
