Nakhon Phanom Shelter Visit 01-Jan-2014...

Thanks to the Magic 1000 Club and to those who have donated towards the construction of the new shelters for rescued dogs. Without your support these dogs would not have stood a chance.

After visiting the Kheemerat shelter Khun Jeab – Soi Dog Bangkok visited the Nakhon Phanom shelter for dogs rescued from the dog meat trade. Many of the dogs from both Khemmerat and Nakhon Phanom have been moved to purpose built shelters at Burriram financed by Soi Dog supporters.

Pictures here are of the remaining several hundred dogs at Nakhon Phanom who will be moved to Burriram in the next few weeks.

The facilities at Burriram are purpose built allowing for better care of the dogs. And more effective use of available resources.
