CAT RESCUED AT RACETRACK FINDS PURRFECT HOME

As all of us involved in animal rescue know, miracles do happen – and sweet Carlito, the Feline Leukemia-positive kitty rescued from the Massachusetts racetrack, seems to have found his miracle!

A compassionate woman read about Carlito via a forwarded post and reached out. As it turns out, not only does she work in a veterinary office – where Carlito will receive all the care he needs for the rest of his life – she also extensive experience with FeLV+ kitties, having adopted exclusively FeLV+ cats for the past 20 years. After her last kitty passed away, she wanted to open her heart and her family’s home to another special cat in need…and when she saw Carlito’s picture, she knew it was meant to be.

Thanks again to everyone who responded to Carlito’s story, with offers of help, kind words, and prayers. You are what make happy endings like his possible.
