Training Willy

With the (un)neighbourly complaints and crime rate on the rise, it seems wiser and safer to feed Willy inside our compound.
But he is so terrified of Mr Zurik and Vincent, so this calls her concerted efforts to train him.
We’ve been bringing him into the compound every now and then.
Daffodil’s family does not chase him. They are friendly.
It’s Vincent whom we have to look out for.
If you remember, in January last year, Vincent and Willy came to the patio on the same day, at exactly the same time. Vincent confidently claimed territory; Willy could not. And the rest is history.
When Vincent came:http://myanimalcare.org/2013/01/11/a-new-cat-on-the-block-2/
Then Willy came:http://myanimalcare.org/2013/01/23/willy-of-orange-abandoned-cat/
It’s been a year…
Willy stays awhile, then he goes off.
If only I could get these two soldiers to accept Willy, all would be well.
Timmy is getting to be an alpha too, but more of the bullying kind. He hogs the little vegetable garden inside. That’s his territory.
What’s he up to now?
Why are you taking my photos?
Mr G visits, but only occasionally.
This morning was another training session for Willy.
He had his breakfast here, on top of the garbage post.
Mr Zurik arrived late, as he hasn’t got used to the new breakfast schedule. College has started, I need to feed them early again.
Late-comers only get kibbles.
And everybody gets as well even though they had just eaten a full breakfast minutes ago. Cats have this very convenient forgetfulness when it comes to food. Never mind if you’ve just fed them the tastiest wetfood 5 minutes ago. When someone else gets food, they stare at you with the look that says: “And what about me? You’re going to starve me to death?? How could you?”.
Willy stayed at the garbage post for at least 15 minutes.
Now, that’s progress!
