MEALS FOR THE STREET ORPHANS: ALL SEEKING HOMES

In Avsallar, Turkey, we sponsor the daily feeding and care of hundreds of street cats and dogs. Volunteer Manuela Wroblewski has permanent blisters on her feet for the miles and miles she walks each day feeding these beautiful little souls who are so grateful for the food she brings. Sadly, the culture toward animals here is violent and the animals are routinely stoned, poisoned and deliberately run down by cars.

International adoption to the United States is one way to save a life. Harmony Fund Founder Laura Simpson has 3 of these cats from Turkey in her own home and they are incredibly affectionate and gentle.
