Dear Dr Chan,
Another kitten need to be rescued near apartment parking lot. I heard kitten crying all night & this morning I went down to investigate. Found a kitten underneath a car & he refused to come out from hiding place.

Luckily, stray cats that I have been feeding at the parking lot appeared. They are so use to me so kitten saw it & may think I am not a threat anymore, he slowly came out underneath the car & follow the adults for food.

With cars passing by most of time & he will not able to defend himself at this age, so I cannot leave him there.

I do have space issue so plan is to introduce to Cotton & her kittens. Not immediately since he has fleas & definitely after a bath (after 3 days from frontline spray). Cotton has soft heart when it comes to kitten but not other adult cats.
He must be very hungry all night.Suspected he was abandoned by his mum ( estimated age may be 2 months).

Can I claim for his medical treatment ( if necessary), vaccinations & future spaying ? I have given him deworm, deflea ( very infested with fleas), vetri dmg for immune booster & cleaned his ears. He is sleeping now. Must be exhausted cried all night looking for his mum.

Thanks & regards,
Marina

Dear Dr Chan,
How are you?

Milo had his visit to vet this morning.
That Sunday night he vomited all his food. Initially ,I did not have much concern. Then, he started having diarehea from Monday night. I fed him Hills ID & boiled chicken but diarehea gets worst & he vomited again today at 2.30am.

Since he estimated around 1.5months only( younger than Cotton’s adopted kitten), I rushed him to vet this morning.

Vet suggested parvo virus test & we did the test. It was such a relieve that result was negative.Vet could not see any parasite or worms in his stool either. Vet prescribed antibiotic for Milo & I have to monitor his conditions.

Vet requested that I continue to feed him ID or boiled chicken. I will submit the receipt soon.

Thank you and regards,
Marina

Dear Dr Chan,
It would be a joy to see if Milo will eventually nursing milk from Mama Cotton. I wish for this to happen and it did. Attached are the pictures. It just happened 15 minutes ago. Mama Cotton has plenty of milk to share and she is a very calm mother cat.

Milo is not having diarehea anymore since Wednesday afternoon and he is so happy with 4 new friends to play with.

I just posted Milo receipt this morning.

Take care and thank you

Marina
