Our Junior Inspectors (JIs) answered a distress call last Wednesday and arrived at Holland Close to this sight. The hapless community cat most likely got itself into this tricky predicament, and was stuck until our JIs freed it. The cat had a slight injury at its mouth, and our JIs brought it back to our shelter for treatment and observation.

We treated the cat’s mouth injury, checked that it was sterilised, and released it back to its community last Friday.

Cats are usually savvy and street-smart creatures, but they can get themselves in trouble too. As much as we’d like them to have 9 lives, they don’t. So if you have a cat, please keep it safe at home!

If you see an animal in danger, please call our emergency hotline at 6287 5355 ext. 9. Our emergency rescue service operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. PLEASE DO NOT REPORT ANIMAL EMERGENCIES ON FACEBOOK. For more information on how you can help an animal in need, visit http://www.spca.org.sg/services_animal_rescue.asp.
