WWF-Malaysia’s efforts include: protecting and patrolling nesting beaches to prevent turtle egg poaching; working with local communities to carry out awareness programmes to empower more community members to become turtle champions; as well as discouraging the public from purchasing turtle-made products and souvenirs.
