Like Heidi, who came on her own, estimated to be 7-8 years, with practically no teeth left. She is definitely a former pet. I don’t know how she came. I’ll never know, but she’s staying.
She accompanies me when I’m sewing.
She follows me everywhere, and even sits outside the bathroom waiting for me…like a dog would!
Or, like Daffodil, estimated to be more than 10 years old, who came with her children, Rosie & Ginger…and Timmy, of course, who came, ala Mr Bean!
A friend once told me that when we get older, it makes sense to adopt an older animal as the chances of being able to see through the animal’s life would be greater. Now, that sounds practical to me.
