We can see from this news how spiders can help save people's lives by reducing the risk of malaria. I think this information is especially useful to Malaysians because I believe many of us see spiders as pests and we like to destroy their webs and get rid of them from our houses. I hope this news will change people's minds.

I know that many people feel that spider webs make the home look untidy. Perhaps we can sweep off just old webs, or move spiders to our outside compound. But I think it's not a good idea to destroy spiders because they actually help to keep mosquitoes at bay.

We shouldn't beat off the hand that helps us.
