Over the next month, we would like to share information about our marine and terrestrial wildlife: turtles and elephants. Marine turtles have swum in the world’s oceans for over 100 million years, surviving even the demise of dinosaurs. Moreover, turtles play an important role in keeping marine ecosystems healthy; the same ecosystems that provide us our seafood; as well as sustain our ecotourism and fisheries.
