Support HUG-a-SHARK Day, this Sunday, 8th December!

What is HUG-a SHARK Day? It�s an annual event within Shark Savers �I�m FINished with FINS� campaign calendar. Henceforth, HASD will be observed on the first weekend of every December. Beyond awareness, education and engagement, HASD�s purpose is to change the negative perception people have of sharks. To make sharks personable and relatable. We need to be able to relate to sharks, in order to care about them. We protect what we know and come to love.

ACRES (Animal Concerns Research & Education Society) is a pioneering Singapore-based charity and Institution of Public Character, founded by Singaporeans in 2001 with the aim of promoting animal welfare.

ACRES has six focus areas: Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation, Wildlife Crime Investigation, Zoo Animal Welfare, Humane Education, Community Outreach and Promoting Cruelty-Free Living.
