This isn’t a picture of some ordinary tree. Look close enough and you’ll see the hapless cat stuck near the end of the branches. Our Animal Rescue Officers (AROs) arrived on the scene after receiving a distress call from a concerned member of public, and managed to get to the cat using a long ladder and pole.
Fortunately, the cat was safe and without injuries. Our AROs released the cat who was happy to return to where it came from.
If you see an animal in danger, please call our emergency hotline at 6287 5355 ext. 9. Our emergency rescue service operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. PLEASE DO NOT REPORT ANIMAL EMERGENCIES ON FACEBOOK. For more information on how you can help an animal in need, visit http://www.spca.org.sg/services_animal_rescue.asp.
