This afternoon Gill passed on your requests for hugs and he certainly seemed to enjoy them. We can tell you that he is a very gentle dog and what fur remains is very soft and looks like he is brindle in colour and semi long haired. Will be a very handsome boy if he recovers. He is certainly already looking much better.

Some more dead maggots were found today and removed and his skin looks more settled. We will keep our fingers crossed that the current drugs succeed in overcoming the septicemia and can then focus on eliminating the blood parasites and treating his skin. His wounds will heal quickly with Dr. Su treating and hopefully the mental trauma he must have undergone can also be healed.
