CAN YOU SEE THE HEART ON HER CHEST?

Take a look at this absolutely gorgeous dog in Bulgaria. She’s soaking wet because her dog house (the only shelter she has) is in tatters. But take a closer look and see if you can see what we see on her chest.

That’s right, the dark lines on her fur outline a perfect heart down her chest and abdominal area. In all the rush to dispatch food and supplies to so many dog and cat orphanages around the world, we sometimes forget to take a breath and notice the beauty in the animals who will receive our gifts. We’re in the middle of an urgent mission to rebuilt the shelter where this dear-heart lives, and if all goes as planned, she’ll be warm and dry before the first snow falls. And hopefully she’ll eventually be adopted by a European family.

The Harmony Fund works a lot like a co-op. Your donations buy food for the animals, and in return you receive much more than money could ever buy. You receive the joy and satisfaction of knowing, truly knowing, that you are bringing food by the ton to dog and cat orphanages in some of the poorest places on earth.

You feed the hungry.
