Updates On 11th Nov 2013

SPCA Selangor, Malaysia’s Eco Shelter ground-breaking ceremony this morning, initiated by Ms. Mea Whitley, the founder of SPCA Selangor almost 6 decades ago! Still sharp and witty, this compassionate lady is a true inspiration indeed.

The new shelter will hopefully be ready in 18 months, with a sharper focus on education and long term solutions towards stray and welfare issues. Some really sweet animals are still urgently awaiting adoption there too.

Thank you to The Body Shop Malaysia for contributing RM100,000 to the new shelter. Great example of a caring company actively championing environmental and welfare issues.
