This week, Soi Dog Foundation welcomed some special guests to our facilities, a team from Greater Good (www.greatergood.org). After arriving in Bangkok, their first trip was to Buriram to visit the dogs rescued from the dog meat trade. Greater Good fundraise for these dogs and have funded two shelters at Buriram, each having the capacity to hold up to 500 dogs. Next stop was the shelter in Phuket where the members of the team met with the six dogs who were to accompany them back to the US to be rehomed with their new families. The team from Greater Good also visited our mobile clinic and observed the dog catchers in action. We thoroughly enjoyed having the team from Greater Good visiting us and are forever grateful for their ongoing support. Allison Wexler has written a blog about their time with Soi Dog Foundation.
