Kuda Fighting For Survival

Kuda is a dog recently rescued from the street after he got into a dog fight with a gang of strays. He was found with an ENORMOUS wound on his back filled with maggots. When rescuers took him off the street, it was already late night and so they put him on a 2nd Floor shoplot before making plans to take him to the vet the following day. However, he jumped from the 2nd Floor building the very same night and escaped. Rescuers were unable to locate him until 2 days later and immediately took him to Life Vet.
The vet gave him a thorough check-up and found him to have internal injuries (due to the jumped) besides the physical wound he had obtained from the fight. An advise from the vet was to put him down as the road of recovery may take very long and the cost incurred may well financially drain us.
MDDB & MCCP Northern adhere to no-kill policy and shall abide to our policy at all times. We will fight together with Kuda and go through all obstacles with him. In fact, there is not even a slightest sign of giving up in Kuda. He has consumed all food serve to him and response well to his rescuers. Is there a reason why we have to put him down? We couldn’t find any…No-way!!!

We have since transfered Kuda from Life Vet to Peng Aun since most of our rescued dogs are there and it will be more convenient for us to visit him. Kuda need to be boarded there temporary until further advise from Dr. Teoh.
Kuda needs a lot of positive energy in order to fight through his ordeal. If you are nearby, do drop him a visit. Whisper a word of support….a word of encouragement and you will be surprised such small gesture will make a huge difference to Kuda.
