Mia's Story.

MIAS STORY…the final chapter…

In this final video documenting the story of Mia, Sabrina returns to MacRitchie to tell the story from beginning to end; of how Mia was found, rescued, rehabilitated and released. Sabrina tells of the emotions felt on that joyous day, when we were finally able to return Mia to her natural home, here in Singapore.

Now that Mia is back in the wild, with her own troop where she belongs, the ACRES Macaque Response Team are on a mission to raise awareness of these amazing native animals, and how it is both possible and necessary for humans to coexist with wildlife such as macaques.

If you have any questions or experience any issues regarding macaques, please call our 24 hotline on 9783 7782.

But for now, Mia, Sabrina, the Macaque Response Team and everyone here at ACRES would like to thank all of you for your support and encouragement throughout this case. It means a great deal to us knowing that our supporters are there, backing us and helping to spread the word, and speaking up for those without a voice.

Happy Friday everyone!!
