Spaying Subsidy For 1 Rescued Dog, Boxer (Goh Hwe Yongs)
We have subsidised RM150 for the spaying of this dog. Mdm Goh has not applied for the mange treatment subsidy yet.
This subsidy comes from the AnimalCare Donors (RM50) and Berjaya Cares (RM100).

Hi, Kah Yein,
I took Boxer for spay at the SPCA clinic, attached are her picture after the procedure.
I have been fostering Boxer for 3 months now. I will post her in Petfinder.my for adoption soon.
(I did not put her up for adoption because she had very bad mange problem, so her chance for adoption will be low then )
She has been treated since, and though is still receiving treatment, she has a shinny coat now except for her head, face where there are tiny lumps, and her limbs have very dry flaky skin.
3 months ago, one late night, my neighbour noticed Boxer lying by the side of the road. He was worried she might get killed on the road, as she was all-black in color, making her hard to notice at night. He brought her to my house the same night, and that was how she came to be with me. She was in very bad shape at that time, with severe mange, and a very smelly infected left ear canal. Took her to the vet who treated her for both the problems. Her ear problem was solved fairly early, while it took 3 months for her fur to regrow, but the mange is still being managed.
I would like to ask whether it is apt for me to apply for subsidy for the spaying and medication for her mange. If her case is accepted, I will proceed to fill the necessary forms and furnish the bills to AnimalCare within the set time frame.
Thanks and regards
gohhy
