This photos was taken a couple days ago when a cold front moved in over FRIEND shelter in Ukraine. But today we got word that the first SNOW STORM has now hit and the road to the shelter is not driveable. Yes, it’s very early for snow!

It’s so important to stock up on supplies for these winter storms so that the animals and their caretakers have food when the road is impassible. Last year you bought the land for the shelter to relocate, and now, with your help, we’ll get the food in as well. We need to send at least a few hundred dollars to buy food right away and we put our faith in our supporters yet again. You are the kindest, most giving group of animal advocates anyone could wish for. Some day we must create a Hall of Fame to showcase the thousands of lives you have touched!
