Dogfood Sponsorship For Kluangs Community Dogs (Tan Mei Lians)

We have fully sponsored RM274.90 for rice, chicken parts and a pack of Sportmix for the 70+ dogs whom Tan Mei Lian feeds in Kluang, Johor. This sponsorship comes from our Food Fund.
Mei Lian works as a service personnel in a water filter company by day. Every night, she goes out to 7 different locations in Kluang to feed the dogs. We are also helping Mei Lian’s community dogs with our Medical Fund.
Mei Lian does her work single-handedly. The photos below were taken by her daughter.
Once our Food Fund closes by this year end, we will not be using our funds to purchase petfood for any caregiver. If you are interested in helping Tan Mei Lian with dogfood subsidy, please liaise directly with her at<meiliantan@hotmail.com>. Any arrangement will be strictly between you (the sponsor) and Mei Lian.
Our Food Fund has to be closed due to several reasons: (a) the dwindling of funds, (b) priority to be given to the Medical Fund, (c) subjectivity in deciding who gets the petfood sponsorship (a task that isn’t pleasant to do!).
Our Medical Fund reaches out to all caregivers/applicants as long as they abide by our policies, so that is much easier to manage!
