Updates On 14th Sep 2013

It has been an exciting week in Laos! Our hardworking volunteers have made a huge difference to the animals at ACRES Lao PDR. They have positively impacted the lives of Assamese Macaques, Malayan Sun Bears and Elephant Trunk Snakes amongst many others, by improving their enclosures and providing enrichment for them. A juvenile Sparrow Hawk even got to enjoy a brand new aviary enclosure as her new home during their short time here! From all of us here at ACRES, we sincerely thank you for your dedication towards the animals!

ACRES (Animal Concerns Research & Education Society) is a pioneering Singapore-based charity and Institution of Public Character, founded by Singaporeans in 2001 with the aim of promoting animal welfare.

ACRES has six focus areas: Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation, Wildlife Crime Investigation, Zoo Animal Welfare, Humane Education, Community Outreach and Promoting Cruelty-Free Living.
