Dear little Patch, the puppy who arrived at the shelter several months ago with terrible wound on her lower back has just flown to her new home in Vancouver. Patch is now called Lexi & has settled in beatifully with her new family. She’s getting on well with the other dogs & cats and is a much loved member of the family already!

Lexi’s new mum “Pat” tells us about the first day with her new pup.

Lexi’s (Patch) first full day at home and she did great. She loves playing and follows the kids all over the house. Last night she had trouble with the stairs, today she conquered them- no problem. Since she was full of energy we took her for a long walk and she did really well on lead. When we got back, she had a bath and then she went for a long nap…..She’s a very good girl, obedient and listens very well.
