NEW YORK SUBWAY SHUT DOWN TO SAVE 2 KITTENS!
On Thursday, authorities cut power on two Brooklyn subway lines for more than an hour after a woman reported that her kittens were loose in the nations largest subway system.
The kittens were seen running dangerously close to the high-voltage third rail. Their owner rushed to a subway station with cat food for transit workers dispatched onto the tracks to use to try to corral them, but the kittens disappeared again. They were finally discovered Thursday evening under the third rail of an aboveground express track. Police officers removed the kittens in crates and both were taken to a veterinarian to be checked.
