Medical Subsidy For 5 �warung� Cats (Norely Abd Rahman�s)

These are 5 “warung” cats cared for by Norely Abd Rahman. We do not subsidise boarding and defleaing in the bills. For defleaing, we strongly recommend that caregivers purchase a bottle of Frontline and use it on their rescues. It is so much more economical. The boarding and defleaing charges have been removed from the total bills below.

Tuxedo Warung: Total bill = RM55. Our subsidy = RM27.50.

Stray 3: Total bill = RM32. Our subsidy = RM16.

Stray 4: Total bill = RM29. Our subsidy = RM14.50.

Stray 6: Total bill = RM27.50. Our subsidy = RM13.75.

Stray 7: Total bill = RM18.00. Our subsidy = RM9.00

Our total subsidy = RM80.75. This subsidy comes from all donors through our Medical Fund (RM20.75) and Berjaya Cares (RM60).

Dear Dr. Chan,

I managed to catch a little tuxedo kitten at the warung where I rescued the 4. She has an injury at her leg that according to the vet has healed but not completely. From her crooked leg bone, the vet theorized that the bone was actually broken and it punctured the skin but somehow since she is still growing, the bone seemed to have connected and the skin has grown to cover it. Since there is still pus and blood, the vet said that it might be infected. I dewormed her and she is on antibiotic. Her eye ligament seemed to be popping out of her eye too but the doctor managed to push it back in. I will send you the receipt hopefully tomorrow if you are OK with me claiming. Thanks so much Dr. Chan and all the generous donors that made it possible for us to rescue and re-home stray cats. The cats and I really appreciate it!

Dear Dr. Chan,

I have a few more applications for the cats that I have rescued. These 2 strays were rescued at my school. We found them first, then the next day we found their mum as well as another sibling. I am applying for a medical subsidy for these 2 if it is OK with you. They were given immune boosters, antibiotics, deworming medicine, flu tablets. I understand that you don’t subsidize boarding so I would appreciate whatever it is that you can help me with. They are currently at my friend’s place as she has agreed to foster her.
