With the number of 1000+ dogs rescued from Illegal Dog Meat trade but limited number of shelter staff including vets at Nakhon Phanom Shelter Stop Dog Meat Trade, Soi Dog and other volunteers last weekend visited the shelter and. So the event was created with the idea that “the girls can help,too”

The teams focus was on:

- Disinfecting the dog runs.
- Cleaning and dressing wounds.
- Minimising the chance of skin issues for the longer haired dogs by bathing & grooming them.
- Assessing dogs and photographing them for the Bangkok adoption program.
- Arrange for the transfer of a large number of the cats recently rescued. (The shelter is not equipped to handle cats as well as dogs.

Soi Dog Foundation
