When Will My Prayer Be Answered?

Dear God,

I have been sitting here for weeks now. Everyday I look out hoping someone will come take me home…But sadly, no one came so I continue to pray…and pray…and pray…to you every night before I sleep, hoping my prayers will soon be answered…

I heard the humans whisper among themselves the other day that someone is interested in me…My ears immediately perked up. Finally, I thought! I clean myself up, make myself pretty and waited eagerly for the “one” to show up.

30 minutes, 1 hour, 3 hours passed…and soon darkness fall but still no one came for me. With a heavy heart, I accepted my faith.

Silently, I said my prayers for the day…

Oh, Mighty God…Please give me a chance.

I am not greedy…I only need food, shelter and a lil’ TLC. In return, I can give back a lot more…fun…joy…happiness…loyalty.

Please let my wish come true soon…I promise to be a good girl, staying true and loyal to my new companion…

The SPCA Seberang Perai is a society registered in September 2005. Our primary aim is to reduce the population of stray animals or possibly a zero stray population in a humane manner. With lesser strays or no strays at all, the loving value of animals will be greatly increased and you can be sure that humans will shower more love for their pets and be responsible pet owners. The problem should not only be shouldered by our Society as the public must also understand the urgent need to control the pet population and give their whole-hearted support to all our projects for the undertaking to be successful. Then we will achieve a clean and hygienic environment for the community. As a no killing organization, we are embarking on a two-prong approach towards the problem i.e public education and sterilization of the stray animals.
