A Hot Pad For Your Cat (or Dog)?

What is Suxiaorebao?
My son just came back from Beijing and brought this back…
He thought it might come in handy for me when I foster kittens.
So, what is this Suxiaorebao thingie?
It’s a dense liquid in a thick plastic bag.
And it has this metal piece that looks like a coin.
You have to “break” the coin many times.
Now, watch what happens…
The liquid starts to change colour, and it heats up!
Yes, it becomes HOT.
Within seconds, it has become a hot pad!
You can use it on a cat who likes warmth.
That’s Tabs, by the way.
My son thought about the days I spent putting hot water gloves for the kittens whom we fostered; yes, this would come in handy.
The man in the shop says it would remain hot for 4-5 hours and can be reused “10,000 times” (that’s Chinese peddler language, so you should discount it by 80%, at the very least).
The price was 100 RMB, but he got it for 20 RMB each (when shopping in China, you must bargain). That’s RM10 each. And it comes in 3 sizes. This is the smallest.
You can use it for any part of your body that needs the heat.
I tripped over Timmy yesterday and banged both my knees on the hard floor. I thought my knee caps cracked, but I can still walk, so that’s fine. Anyway, some heating might do my knees some good.
Or, if you have back ache, it helps too.
After half an hour, it’s still hot.
20% of “4-5 hours” is about there, so yes, that’s about right.
Bunny likes it!
Indy ran away from it.
This is the life…
