With reference to the above, coincidentally, one of our applicants claimed that she had already posted her forms to us 5 days ago, but we still have not received it.
From our experience, the post is usually slower than usual during the festive seasons as well as the fasting month. So, during such periods, please use Pos Ekspres.
Also, as a contingency measure, please photocopy the receipt AND scan or take a photograph of your receipt and form and email it to us. Should your mail be lost in the post or be severely delayed, we can refer to your scanned copy (which can even be a photograph, but taken clearly) and act on it before the 2-week deadline lapses. However, you will still have to post the photocopy to us.
So, PLEASE photocopy your receipts.
And since we are on this subject, may I please make another appeal that all applicants check that they have filled up the form completely before submitting it to us?
Today, we received an application where there was no name on the receipt, the name of bank was not stated on the form and there was an alteration of the date on the receipt. We called the vet to verify but the vet was busy (understandably so). It was only much later that the vet managed to verify it. Now, we would rather not disturb the vet unnecessarily over such a matter.
For such cases, we would require the applicant to resubmit the form (since it was incompletely filled). Now, wouldn’t this cause extra postage money and is an utter waste of time and effort?
I had 14 cases to process today, folks.
Please may I ask for your sympathies? Sobs…
Could you please get someone to check your forms for you before you post them? It would save me so much time and effort.
And if you do not know how to fill up our form, we have the following guidelines:http://myanimalcare.org/2013/07/10/how-to-apply-for-a-subsidy-fill-up-our-forms-etc/. These guidelines are in the link that we send out to every single applicant. Every time they apply.
