Medical Subsidy For 4 TNRM Cats (Koo Swee Pors)

We have subsidised RM60 for the 3 vaccinations and RM8 for the Ivermectin jab. This subsidy comes from all donors through our Medical Fund (RM28) and Berjaya Cares (RM40). We thank Koo very much for his kind donation. One good turn deserves another!

Hi Dr Chan,

Firstly, thank you very much to AnimalCare for agreeing to provide
medical subsidies for the stray kittens as part of my neighbourhood
TNRM program. I have posted the completed subsidy forms, original
receipts and other necessary documents. The following are the cases
that I wish to apply for:

1) Blondie, Snowball & Sylar the 3 kittens <small3kittens.jpg>
On 13 July 2013, I took the kittens from their feeder’s backlane to
the vet clinic for their booster vaccination. Their weight gain has
much improved with their current weight of 1.05-1.15kg (a gain of
0.15-0.3kg over a two week period compared to only 0.1-0.2kg over a
month’s period in their previous check-up) as their tongues ulcers
were now gone and they obviously regained their appetites. As a
result, the kittens were deemed healthy enough to take their booster
vaccination. Thus, I would like to apply for a subsidy for their
vaccination which would be the last applied for them under the
AnimalCare’s subsidy terms and conditions.

20 July 2013 update: I’ve managed to persuade the feeder to give up
Blondie, one of the kittens and has successfully rehomed her. The
adopter still found fleas on her despite being Frontline-sprayed only
two weeks before (probably got them from her mother cat) and she took
her to the vet who interestingly believed that the kitten is an
albino. By the way, I’m donating her adoption fee (which covers all
her previous vet costs) to AnimalCare and has bank in accordingly.

2) Nuar the rescued black kitten <Nuar.jpg>
On 13 July 2013, I took Nuar to the vet clinic for his second
Ivermectin injection to treat his mange problem. The vet advised that
Nuar won’t need any more injections after this as he has recovered.
Thus, I’ve put him up for adoption and would like to apply for a
subsidy for his Ivermectin injection.

Thank you and best regards,

Koo

On a personal basis, I wish to thank Koo most gratefully for captioning all his photos. It helps me so, so much!!

There is just so much work involved in compiling emails, photos and filing reports for each case.

Could I please ask other internet-savvy applicants to please do the same? If you can, that is. If it’s not too much trouble, of course.

*Hands clasped in prayer and hope*

Tips: Paste the photo on powerpoint, you can easily add the captions by using text boxes, then save it as jpeg. Even if you just add the name of the cat, it would already help me so, so, so much.

Thank you!
