Subject: Lek2 & Sonny – Missing since 11 July 2013
Lek Lek and her son, Sonny, have been missing since late Thursday 11 July. Imm and I are distressed (also Carol when I informed her) that they are nowhere to be found. Mother and son are inseperable and have never left the shelter grounds. They will come when called and will always come running to greet us when they hear our car approaching. Both dogs do not like to be confined inside the shelter, so they are allowed outside but will always come into the shelter for their food via a hole in the fencing of their kennel.
Lek Lek and Sonny are an amazing pair. I have never ever seen a mom and son so close and loving towards each other. Imm tells me that they were rescued by Ah Mei, the laksa lady, when Sonny was just a little pup, near where she was selling laksa. Ah Mei had cared for them and had both dogs neutered when she brought them to Imm’s shelter.
We miss them dearly. Wherever they are, we hope that are well. Better still, we hope they’ll reappear. We love them so.
