The best news of the day, folks!
Ah Fatt just called saying there are only two puppies left from the litter of 8 puppies from the second mother-dog. One will be adopted tomorrow, and the last one, on Monday!
As for the first mother-dog, Ah Fatt kept to his word and had already discharged her after one month and sent her for fostering at his friend’s. Af Fatt says since the two mother-dogs are sisters, he does not want to separate them, so he will going to find a place that can take both of them together! The first mother-dog has already been spayed, and the second will be spayed after the milk glands have subsided.
Ah Fatt says since he will be discharging the second mother-dog soon (after being spayed) and all the puppies have been rehomed, he will not need the full 3 months’ boarding. We will see how much boarding is required and write to the donors to inform them. As of now, we definitely have enough funds from what is collected.
Wonderful news, isn’t it? And the bonus is that the two sisters will be together for the rest of their lives! Just think for a moment what a tragedy it would have been had these two families (and the second mother-dog was heavily pregnant at that time) been caught and euthanised. Yikes! It gives me goose bumps just thinking about it…perish the thought!! It’s all thanks to rescuers like Ah Fatt and our donors who respond immediately to help. Together, we perform “miracles” and we make the difference!
Ah Fatt will provide photos later, after everything is done and the bill is settled.
