A quick update for Soi Dog supporters following the story of dogs rescued from the illegal dog meat trade…

Trucks have left the overcrowded Nakhon Phanom shelter with several hundred dogs being transferred to the new purpose built shelters at Burriram financed by Soi Dog supporters.

Many thanks to all who have donated towards building the first of the Burriram shelters. An additional 7 are planned to be built (pending funding) each able to house 500 dogs.

Soi Dog Foundation

Established in 2003 in Phuket, Thailand, Soi Dog is Southeast Asia's largest organisation helping stray animals. The Gill Dalley sanctuary in Phuket is home to over 1,600 animals.
