Please Do Not Call Meiji�s Phone Number Anymore

It is not our intention to publish anymore posts about Meiji especially when one day after our last post, one of the regular donors who have helped her a lot received a text message sent from Meiji’s phone which said she wanted to be left alone to do the things she likes.

However, we received the following message over facebook so as per Jesselyn’s request, we thought it is only fair that we let all readers know that they should not call Meiji’s 017- number anymore.

We have also removed the number from Jesselyn’s message below to protect her privacy.

We have managed to contact Jesselyn and learnt that many people are still calling her number asking for Meiji. We explained that Meiji has long ceased to use this phone number (it was changed last year) and also, some of these callers may not be our readers. We have also offered to help Jesselyn by calling up these people to explain that Meiji cannot be contacted anymore if Jesselyn could give us their phone numbers.

We have explained to Jesselyn that Meiji’s sanctuary in Raub is not ours and that Meiji is only someone whom we’ve been helping for the past few years and we published her phone number because donors needed to contact her directly when they made donations into her bank account.

In any case, if you happened to be one of those who have called this 017- number to look for Meiji, please do not call anymore. This is her old number and we cannot even contact her through her present number as she is no longer picking up calls or answering text messages.
