Just some update. These 3 puppies are actually the puppies of the pregnant dog who rescued by Ah Fatt and gave birth to 8 puppies at Mayo Clinic. The other 5 puppies had already found home. Hope these 3 remaining puppies will find their home soon !
I attached herewith the latest picture of the mother dog for your info.
Regards
Adeline
We thank Adeline for helping Ah Fatt with the rehoming of the puppies.
We have also gently reminded Ah Fatt that the boarding fee we raised for the first mother-dog is only for one month. Ah Fatt says he will find a way to relocate the spayed mum-dog safely. The boarding fee for the second mother-dog is for 3 months because we did not know how long it would take for her puppies to be rehomed and for her to be spayed. We have raised sufficient funds for both.
Thank you, everyone, for your kind donations to help these two families. The two families escaped capture twice before Ah Fatt brought them to safety. That’s 13 lives saved from capture-and-kill (2 mother dogs and 11 puppies).
Although we do not subsidise boarding as per our policy, in special cases like these, when an appeal is made by the applicant (in this case, it was Ah Fatt), we will post it and rely on the generosity of our readers to contribute. These funds do not come from our AnimalCare fund as that is disbursed according to our policies. These are extra contributions from our readers. We do not often do this, unless it is for very special cases. We hope other applicants will understand that this is only done with very special cases upon request and we retain sole discretion to decide if we will post the appeal. On this note, we just received an accusation from another applicant that we practise “double-standards” (if you are interested, please read the next post).
