Go Churchill!…

Many Soi Dog supporters have asked about Churchill the abandoned and neglected bulldog who came to the shelter a few weeks ago.

Churchill had suffered from a horrific attack (dog bite) and we were very concerned he might lose his eye. After several extensive treatment by Dr Che and Dr Su his eye has progressed amazingly in just a short period of time and we are optimistic that it will be fine. Churchill�s wound has a lot of granulation tissue (which is a good sign), is healing and there is no sign of infection. He will need time to be completely healthy, though.

He does have a cough which might be a first indication of distemper, although he is still testing negative although dogs in early stages of distemper can test negative. His next distemper test will be tomorrow so keep your fingers crossed for him!
