We received a call from a concerned member of the public who had found a small bird at a shop-house along Tiong Bahru Road. Our Animal Rescue Officer arrived on the scene and found the little fledgling, chirping away and asking for food. He brought the bird back to our shelter and we fed it some mealworms and baby bird food. Wanting to get professional advice from the wildlife experts, we contacted the good folks over at ACRES: Animal Concerns Research and Education Society (Singapore), who readily agreed to help.

Thank you ACRES for the good work you do for wild animals in Singapore!
