5th Update: Whitey Comes Back Here (from Yap Mei Han)

Whitey is a rescued dog from Selayang (jointly rescued by Vedrana Lukacevic and Yap Mei Han) and we sponsored his TVT treatment and neutering. Upon recovery, Whitey was sent to a shelter in Ipoh, but was found to have fits and was losing weight. Mei Han will be bringing Whitey back here for treatment.

A reader alerted us that Vedrana Lukacevic had started fundraising on Facebook for Whitey:�

As per our policy, since Vedrana is raising funds on her own through Facebook, we will not be able to subsidise Whitey’s case anymore.

Mei Han will keep us informed of Whitey’s progress.

We wish Whitey a quick recovery and hope it is not distemper that is causing the fits and weight loss.

Dear Dr Chan,�I�would like to update you on�Whitey.��We are taking him�back to the vet in USJ on Wednesday.��The shelter recommended the same clinic and we are glad to�return him there since this vet treated him earlier.�We will be�paying for his�medical fee pending for clearance before the shelter accepts him.�As for the shelter in Ipoh, they are currently in need of help.� I have raised some food, vitamins and basic needs for the dogs which will be delivered to them soon.� I will also be taking few days off to help them out.
