Animal Activist Alliance (AAA), Stop Dog Meat Trade (SDMT) and Soi Dog Join Forces�

Stop Dog Meat Trade and Soi Dog have joined forces with Animal Activist Thailand (AAA) (https://www.facebook.com/aaathailand) in bringing the illegal dog meat trade to an end.

While simply intercepting dog smugglers is not a long term solution it is an important step in ending the trade. As a result of work by AAA, SDMT, Soi Dog and others significant progress has been made and the smugglers are on the defensive.

The ultimate aim is to STOP the trade through:

- Continued undercover work and resulting arrests.

- Bringing the leaders of the trade to justice.

- Working with the governments of Thailand, Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia through the Asia Canine Protection Alliance towards ending the trade thereby benefiting both dogs and humans (disease and health issues)

- Working with Thailand�s Department of Livestock Development on wide scale sterilization, vaccination and public education programs in north east Thailand resulting in significant decreases in stray dog population and improved health conditions for the people of the region.

Soi Dog Foundation

Established in 2003 in Phuket, Thailand, Soi Dog is Southeast Asia's largest organisation helping stray animals. The Gill Dalley sanctuary in Phuket is home to over 1,600 animals.
