A New Breakfast Venue For Willy And The Zurik Incursion Continues

Today is Monge Monday for everyone.
Yups, we humans go Meatless Monday but cats are carnivores, so they have to eat what they need.
Cleo is the smallest eater, so she’s gone as the rest lick up their third or fourth helping.
Hey…who is this?
Oh, it’s Daffodil taking the ledge walk back from Mr G’s house?
What was she doing in Mr G’s house?
Hi Daffi, come back for breakfast!
Everyone is waiting at the patio for breakfast.
Even Mr G is here, so Daffodil must have gone to visit Mr G’s other cat-friends? Maybe Snow White?
Daffodil is coming back!
I left her Monge share for her.
While everyone inside got their hearty Monge meal today, outside, a different story unfolds…
Mr Zurik had parked himself on the culvert and I had to shoo him away.
Willy was no where to be seen at all.
I waited for 10 minutes or more and was about to give up when I saw him far away at the playground.
The poor little guy is so afraid of Mr Zurik.
Sigh…Mr Zurik has definitely disturbed the peace.
I went over to the playground, but he wanted to come back through the drains, so I let him.
It’s good that he has the courage to come back with Mr Zurik gone.
After all, this is Willy’s breakfast spot. He should come back to eat here.
Eat up, Willy-O.
Little did I know, lurking in the darkness….
…is Mr Zurik,
Stormtrooper Vincent Starr is on hand to keep the peace.
Second-in-command is Ms Rosie Delfino.
Willy senses danger lurks nearby.
Er…Stormtrooper…you’re keeping the peace, right?
Willy is too afraid and decides to forgo his breakfast.
Okay, I will take the breakfast over to the playground for Willy then.
I had to stand with Willy, or else he was just too scared to eat.
Evil still lurks in the darkness, with a sidekick in the form of a shrew?
Kettenkard’s version:
Zurik: Come Igor.We have work to do.
Shrew:Yes Master.
*cue menacing music*
Ha ha….no, it’s just the harmless shrew coming to see if there are any leftover kibbles for him. It’s a daily affair for the shrew who shares Willy’s breakfast.
The Stormtrooper and Peacekeeper are still on standby.
I stand in between Willy and the Evil in the Drain. I must look pretty silly to the morning joggers and walkers. A certain cat-hating person was near, but I chose not to engage in eye contact.
Then, Mr Zurik moved to Willy’s breakfast spot at the culvert, sniffing for food.
Hmm….he is hungry after all?
I went over but he fled into the drain.
So, I left some kibbles on the concrete patch just to see if he is hungry.
So you are hungry, after all?
Yes, he is.
Hmm….this may mean I still have a chance to catch him.
He finished the kibbles and looked up for more.
But by now, Peacekeeper Ginger Delfino is out.
No, Ginger, go back. Ginger might not stand a chance against Mr Zurik and I can do without another 7-days of antibiotic-feeding, please.
Mr Zurik is desperate. He crosses the road to head for Willy’s breakfast.
No!
I quickly went back to the house and brought the carrier and some food. Oh, what is there to lose? Try and catch him since he is hungry, right? But the hurriedness of it all must have alerted Mr Zurik, so the moment he saw the carrier, he fled back up the road (towards where he comes from). Willy also fled. Both of them seems to fear the carrier. Or, both had read my mind, because I was going to catch one of them, anyway.
So, mission failed, but it wasn’t a planned mission at all. Never mind.
We’ll ensure nothing is wasted.
And through it all, Timmy Tum Tums was guarding his food arsenal.
Kettenkard’s version: hmmm…the bowl would fit in my belly. If only bowls are edible.
While Mr G was grooming himself after breakfast.
You guys fight all you want. Been there, done that in my hey day. I’m retired now and life is good.
Just let US out and we will take care of everything!!
I know, I know. World War III will break out if I unleashed our titans.
So, no, thank you.
