Program and Goofy were brought to Soi Dog�s shelter in late April after being hit by cars. Both are paralysed and it is unlikely they will ever be able to walk again though can both live happy lives in the right environment.

With hundreds of injured dogs being treated each month Soi Dog does not have the staff or facilities to provide the required care for paraplegic dogs. Soi Dog contacted Home For Life Sanctuary in the United States which provides life-time care for special need dogs such as Program & Goofy.

A Swiss supporter was told about Program & Goofy by a visiting Swiss vet. She has generously paying all the flight costs and the cost of wheels.

Home for Life is a care for life animal sanctuary for dogs and cats with special needs who have not been able to find adoptive homes. Home for Life offers animals loving care, a place to belong and a home for life where they will be cared for as long as they may live. Home for Life is located on 40 picturesque acres in Star Prairie, Wisconsin and cares for 200 animals who have come from all over the Unites States and many foreign countries.

Home for Life has already taken in two paraplegic dogs who came to us from Soi Dog; Indi and Chok Dee. Chok Dee died in February 2012 from cancer, but Indi, who came to Home for Life when only a puppy, is still at Home for Life. BUT � Home For Life has limited space and additional facilities must be built to care for Program & Goofy. Soi Dog is helping Home For Life raise funds for Program & Goofy�s accommodation.
